Short-term (2007-2010) and long-term (2007 - 2020) foreign trade development forecast for Russia | 12-05-2009

Project Summary:

Within the project CEFIR experts implemented the following scope of work:
  • Preparing the report on the analysis of the global market situation trends and prices on the most important for Russia commodity groups and product items;
  • Estimating on a monthly and quarterly basis the perspectives of the Russian export and import in terms of the main commodity items;
  • Conducting the analysis of the foreign trade development for Russia in 2006- 2007;
  • Developing foreign trade development forecast for Russia in the short-term and long-term perspective (basing on the analysis of the main commodity items, commodity groups, export and import, the main counter-part countries) ;
  • Developing possible foreign trade development scenarios for Russia in the short-term and long-term perspective with respect to the macroeconomic, political and economic environment;
  • Estimating the impact of the external economical, internal economical, political and trading factors on the foreign trade development for Russia in the short-term and long-term perspective.
