Surveying Corporate Governance Practices | 11-06-2009
The project was implemented for the International Financial Corporation (IFC).

Project Summary:

The project was aimed at analyzing corporate governance practices in the Russian regions and defining the determinants of corporate governance level in companies.

The analysis was based on the data of open joint-stock societiesí survey in seven regions of the Russian Federation: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and in the regions of Samarskaya oblast, Rostovskaya oblast, Sverdlovskaya oblast and Primorsky kray.

The survey was conducted by the Foundation for Studying Regional Problems in the late 2004 — early 2005.

The project allows to follow the dynamics of changes in corporate governance practices by comparing the current state of things with the basis survey results.
