The Bradley Foundation Visiting Scholar Program | 10-04-2003
James Robinson
Paul Seabright
The Bradley Foundation Visiting Scholar Program has funded two visits by internationally acclaimed economists to Russia. Each Visiting Scholar spent about a week working with CEFIR researchers on their projects, giving lectures at the New Economic School or other institutions, meeting with individual policymakers, and interacting with a broader academic and policymaking community in Russia. At the core event of the program, the Bradley Seminar hosted by CEFIR, the scholar presented a research paper to the audience of senior Russian economists.

The Bradley Foundation Visiting Scholar Program aimed at strengthening relationships of Russian economists with the international economic community and improving the quality of economic research and policy advice produced in Russia. The Program provided Russian scholars, policymakers and students of economics an opportunity to better familiarize themselves with the principles and ideas driving Western economic and political development.
