Policy paper «The role of development banks in the implementation of the state strategic interests» (in Russian) is available for free download.
 
 
In July — October 2014, CEFIR experts carried out research on «The role of development banks in the implementation of the state strategic interests». The results of the research were summed up in the policy paper, which contained:

  • review of the role of development banks and their purpose (bank for development as a unique tool for solving complex problems in the field of socio-economic development, improving the competitiveness of the national economy, modernization of the economy through innovations);

  • review of the experience of functioning and the role played by development banks in the economy of other countries;

  • an overview of the challenges facing Russia, the role of the Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank) in achieving the goals of national development;

  • performance indicators of the Bank (the model of the utility value measurement of the Bank for the state);

  • conclusions and recommendations.
